LTC Krajeski was raised in
Keeseville, New York and graduated from the United States Military
Academy at West Point in 1985 with a commission in the Infantry. He
received a Doctorate in History from The Florida State University in
1998.
Prior to assuming
his duties as Professor of Military Science at URI, LTC Krajeski was
assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Ft.
Campbell, Kentucky where he served as an Infantry Battalion Operations
Officer, a Division Training Officer, and an Infantry Brigade Executive
Officer. During his time with the 101st, he deployed to
Kosovo and served as the Task Force Falcon Chief of Plans.
Previous assignments include Company Command in the 3rd U.S.
Infantry (The Old Guard) at Ft. Myer, Virginia and as Assistant
Professor in the Department of History at West Point. He served as a
Rifle and Scout Platoon Leader at Camp Greaves, Korea and as a Platoon
Leader and Company Executive Officer in the 1st Battalion, 75th
Ranger Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
LTC Krajeski’s
military education includes the U.S. Army Command and General Staff
Officers Course, Combined Arms and Services Staff Officers Course, and
Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced Courses. In addition, he graduated
from the U.S. Army’s Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault schools.
His awards and
decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal (3 Awards), Army
Commendation Medal (4 Awards), Army Achievement Medal (4 Awards), Army
Superior Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, NATO Medal, Kosovo
Medal, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Ranger Tab, Senior Parachutist
Badge, Air Assault Badge, and British and Jordanian parachutist badges. |
