2005 Army R.O.T.C. Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Three soldiers associated with the URI Army R.O.T.C. were honored with induction into the Hall o f fame this year. LTG (Ret) John B. (“Bruce”) Blount ’50, COL William P. Babcock ’68, and LTC Richard S. Schott 1963-66 ROTC Instructor. The induction program was conducted by the Army R.O.T.C. Alumni Chapter. Immediately following the induction ceremony the candidates and public were invited to reconvene in the Atrium A of the Student Memorial Union on the Kingston campus where the honorees’ portraits were mounted on the “Wall of Honor” along with the other HOF members.
